Well JAC was keeping a track of such things and if i remember it actually ended up Coventry Blaze 8 - 13 Thommo's All Stars despite what it said on the scoreboard lol.
Entertaining night out, personally i really enjoyed it.
Looking at the state of some of the players though.... I'm so glad we sorted out the league win on Sunday!
Also, anyone else thnk that Bernard should have saved himself a few bob and gone in goal himself for the Bison instead of hiring Vogel ;D

Brilliant last night. Hillarious game. I lost track of the score though. One complaint though is the price of the programmes: £10!! I mean i know it is a special game and Thommo is great 'n' all, but it cost less than the programme to go to the game! Apart from that it was briiliant. And got even better after the game when i spoke to Carps and Frenchie. And i FINALLY got to meet Shuds YAY

I did a hand count and I reckon the attendance was roughly 350.
And yeh I know it wasn't mean't to be a serious game. It would have just been nice to see the players actually try to score in the penalty shots competition like they would do in a serious game rather than try to show off.
Who cares though because they won us the League and Cup ;D

Technically Paul Adey can claim to have been on the winning side against the Blaze this season...something his team can't ;D I do get cross when I heard one or two comments about the antics of the players as though a competitive game was a requisite. Personally I love these testimonials/charity matches as they always deliver in terms of feel-good entertainment. My fave moment from such a game was at Peterborough when everyone went on the ice for the last few minutes and it looked like public skating with sticks.
One gripe is that more didn't turn up but I daresay PW will comment in his usual inimitable way on this score before much longer

I was giving some of the players a bit of stick but I wasn't been serious just like most the players wern't

The telegraph says that 1,500 were there. Not sure if it was quite that many, i would've thought there were about 1000 though.
