Great point CW The loss of life was higher in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina although the Twin Towers incident was totally man made.Which I wonder is the most chilling situation?

Some would say due to global warming that the events of mother nature are indirectly man made. However I think that it is an act bourne out of sheer evil which could randonly cause so many lives to expire just because they don't believe in the same way as another.
I also feel that there will be greater natural disasters that will make the two big ones in the past 12 months remembered only by those who suffered and historians. Agter all how many remeber the Mexican quake of 85, The Phillipino volcanic eruption of 92, Hurricane Mitch (Which was supposed to have been the biggest for decades) etc
Whereas everyone will remember September 11th 2001 with chilling clarity

8th December 1980, John Lennon was shot dead by Mark Chapman. JL went beyond just music. He was an inspiration to millions. Chapman deserves his place in history alongside the likes of Hitler, Pol Pot and any other despicable murderers

Some would say due to global warming that the events of mother nature are indirectly man made. And lets be honest how many of us really care about it. I would like to believe I do, and I do simple things such as switching lights off when I leave the room, etc, but not all the time. But if I had a job, that earned loads of money, but a small side effect was a little bit of pollution, I wouldn't be too bothered.
