World Trade Center - Amazing movie. Touching movie. And even though it's about one of the worst days in history, it's a film about hope. It doesn't focus on the actual event of the planes hitting (that's never even shown) It doesn't focus on the people who were trapped on the upper floors and had no way out, it focuses on how people help each other, how they dealt with the situation, how lives were also saved on that day. Not an easy movie to watch, this is only the second time I've seen it, and both times it's had me by the end (as do most things about 9/11) but it's a movie everyone should try and see. As is said in the film: "9/11 showed us what human beings are capable of. The evil, yeah, sure. But it also brought out the goodness we forgot could exist. People taking care of each other for no other reason than it was the right thing to do. It's important for us to talk about that good, to remember."

Frost/Nixon - Great movie, 2nd best I've seen this year so far, and 2nd best of the 5 Best Picture Oscar nominated ones. Really interesting and great performances from all the actors.
Milk - The best movie of the year so far (and can't see much beating it), and the best of the Oscar nominees. If there is any justice in the world this will win Best Picture, and Sean Penn will win best actor, simply stunning performance (as usual) He was Harvey Milk, I completely forgot I was watching Sean Penn playing Milk. If you only see one film in the coming weeks, make sure it is this.

My Name Is Bruce - The funniest film I have ever seen. Just awesome. Although you'd have to be a big Bruce Campbell fan to like it.
