Yeah I don't think he is a bad Bond - I preferred Quantum of Solace to Casino Royal. I just don't think he is as good as some of the previous Bonds like Connery!

Saw IV - Even though Saw V has made it a pointless film it's still easily my favourite of the series.
(Some of) Faces of Death - I can't complain about this "movie" as I knew what I was getting in to, but it's not entertainment it's just mindless pointless gore trying to gross you out. I know it's not all real, but even the fact that some of it is takes away any entertainment value this film could ever hope to have. Not that I watched it to be entertained, I watched it because it's one of those films that, as a horror fan, I kind of feel I should watch if only to widen my knowledge.

No Country for Old Men.
As dark as you like with a real menacing bad guy.

Watched Journey To The Centre Of The Earth and Ironman on Christmas Day. Both enjoyable although the latter took longer to get going

Pixar short films Collection Vol 1 - Hillarious. Well worth getting, starts off at one of the first shorts they ever did back in 83 and goes right through to this year. Doesn't include every one they made, but all the classics - Luxo Jr, Knick Knack, For The Birds, Geri's Game and many more.

^ ^ ^ Good choice, although you should also get Saw and Saw IV so you can watch all 4 in a row...by far the best way to watch the Saw movies.

Watched Crocodile Dundee In Los Angelas tonight, the third in the trilogy. Not as good as the first two, they are classics, but I'v seen them loads of times, this was only the second time I'v watched this one. Had me in stitches in parts so have to say decent film.

No Country For Old Men - I should have hated this film. It was slow, long, kind of boring in places, not much action, non-existent soundtrack......but it was simply stunning. Made even better by the fact that it doesn't need all those things to be good.
Zodiac Director's Cut - Amazing film. A bit long (2 hours 42 mins) but it never drags. Fascinating stuff.

Man On Wire - Spellbinding documentary that chronicles the stunning achievement of Philippe Petit, a French-born performance artist who walked a high wire between the top of the World Trade Center twin towers in August 1974. Should be a front runner for Best Documentary at the Oscars, best one I've seen for a while.

Repo! The Genetic Opera - Amazing movie. Mostly hillarious, moments of sadness, also some shocks, but mainly just epic. I don't know if/when it's showing in the UK, but if you can get to a screening it's well worth it. Either that or get the DVD/Blu-ray on March 9th.

In the past two weeks I have watched Slumdog Millionaire and The Wrestler. Two films I certainly thought were worth seeing.
