Mihalik out for the rest of the season!!!

Pavol Mihalik is out for the rest of the season with a broken shoulder. .This is what i hav heard.Bad news for the team,i will miss those hip checks!!! Get well soon Pav!!

I have heard he will be out for a minimum of 10 weeks, which will take us to as near as dammit the end of the season. A disgrace. Christian will get what is coming to him along with Darling and the gutless git that is Peron (Assming Rob Davidson doesn't get there first- that is if Peron doesn't stop running) and to think they (Steelers) call Andre four hooves. Seems like they have a whole roster who feed on carrotts

yup, completely outrageous check from behind from darling (i think) that went completely unpunished again by good old hicksy. in fairness he did miss blatent calls against both sides, but squeelers decided to see how far they could go with it and ended Pavol's season. Great huh?

It's gonna hurt when you skate into the boards that fast - no penalty call has gotta tell you something.

Word on the Steelers forum from those at the North End is that Christian stepped away from Mihalik's check.

There was a video - let's wait & see. My guide is the reaction of the Blaze players - only No. 7 made any move on Christian - and that's a given.

hitchy..seems that adams was incensed when pavol dodged his check...so what right had he to be so angry if as above you state its ok . He seemed to want to take it further...dont say he was heading to the bench cause we saw the look on his face...

I think a few folk on here need to take a step back, and realise what they are coming out with, because I have never read so much garbage in my life.

Being stood near where the incident took place, and with 3 Coventry fans accepting that this was a bad accident, and that Mihalik hit the boards badily. Not gutless at all, but I do wish a speedy recovery to Mihalik.

Our players are going to get them - How good was your source, because if it is THAT good, and i'm presuming it will be someone from within the team, then IMO those sort of comments are boarding upon bringing the game into disrepute!!!

But if we are going to talk about gutless, then lets talk about a few of your fans who thinks its big and clever to swear towards Sheffield fans (who predominatly in the area towards the merchandise stand was women and kids) and to push ladies down stairs

I hold the Coventry organisation and its fans in high regard, but when you get the muppets who do the above, then I have to ask myself why?

Pavol is deffinately out for the rest of the season. We will deffinatley need to bring in a new d-man.

Jeff Christian is very dirty, its a well known fact. The Steelers, deffinately have some damn dirty players, dutiaume is an awesome player but what he did to calder when calder was on the floor, is plainly horrific.

we have fans ON BOTH SIDES misbehaving last night...blaze fans AND steelers fans were ejected from the building...

it seems that all teams have a muppet section and the sort of game we had last night does nothing to help in calming that down.....there have been instances all season where fan of team X has abused fan of team Y...you know it and i know it having been on the recieving end of it at other rinks..its not just our problem....and i sincerly hope you are not attempting to say it is? .....i can only think its something to do with the intensity of the EIHL this year..any one of 4 or 5 teams could win

Tonight i am at the NIC...according to some reports sometimes not the friendliest of places......i just want to watch the game...i hope i will be able to

Christian was a disgrace last night, that's all i have to say. Taking Pav out for the season and checking (calder?) from behind, then to the head when he was on his knees!

Peron - well he's going to get what's coming to him (in the form of big Rob Davison)

MC - you should have said hello - look for me tonight (Big guy in a Cardiff shirt ) and say howdo.

I was not for a minute suggesting that its only a Cov problem, your right that all teams have their muppets - however when you go to other rinks, the home fans do tend to sort out the problem amongst themselves, and lets them known that it aint the done thing, I dont get that same feeling in Coventry, which is a shame.

I know the Steeler fan ejected, and if you come up to me, I will give ya a wee bit more info as to what happened with him!
