I'm looking at it right now ;D So THATS where they keep disappearing..... Any way, which NHL teal do people recommend i support?... with reasons ;D Don't bother supporting an NHL team. Why do you need to when you already support the best ice hockey team in the World. Coventry Blaze

True but the NHL does give you a hockey fix for a few months after our season has finished.........usually

Why should one follow the Penguins? Well... They have the best young goalie in the NHL in Marc-Andre Fleury. They have one of the games all-time icons in Mario Lemieux (who has never played for another NHL team). They have some of the cheapest tickets in the NHL. Black and white jerseys will never go out of style. They rarely get shown on Five, so when they are on, it's an event in itself... Their prospects include possibly the best young forward in the world in Evgeni Malkin. They have history. It's always more satisfying to root for the underdog-sure you could go for Tampa Bay, Calgary or Detroit, but winning gets boring... Their team's average age is 25-they can only get better. And, of course, they're my team...

With rumours abound that if no deal struck by the end of June then no season again we may soon be asking "Who was your favourite NHL team"

I think there will be an NHL next season, and for a change both sides recently seem to have had some positive stuff to say from their meetings.

No its not. The NHL lockout is great for World Ice Hockey. Unless of course you are a fan of an NHL team.

I never really watched it much to be honest. It was always on to late. Might have shown more interest if they had highlights program or something on at a more suitable time.

Well that would be tricky given that most games are live across the pond ;D But I do take your point in that they should do a magazine/wrap kind of program
