signing for Blaze is a rumour that just won't go away-there's now a post on the Steelers forum saying that his signing is almost done, given some weight by the reported hitch his contract negotiation with the Steelers is running into (something about a damaged car and whose responsibility it is to pay for it, apparently). If this is true, what a top two lines Blaze could put out-a top one of Calder-Carlson-Tait, and a second line of Poirier-Peron-Payette (hereafter, if it happens, known as the P-line  |

I'd love us to sign him- but apparently Nottingham want him also, they'd make tough competition in chase for his signature. Although he was apparently happy at the steelers, so if he were to leave he might think I should show the fans some loyalty and not sign for the panthers atleast!

If he did want to sign for another elite team i would of thought Coventry despite Nottingham offering more money!

I can confirm that Blaze will NOT be signing Micky Peron as he has re-signed for the Sqeelers. I can also confirm that John Craighead, Wurzal Gummage, Bob The Builder and my nextdoor neighbour will not be on the Blaze roster next season.
