One thing that is different about ice hockey to most other sports is that in a lot of countries, league games go to overtime rather than ending in draws. What I want to know is has a side, ever needed a point to win a league championship, drew the game and then still had to play overtime as its part of the league format, even though they have already won the title. Just wondered what would happen, would the side thats just won the league just let the opposition score so that could get on with their celebrations, would they be so happy that they have got the result they needed that they would compleatly forget about the overtime, go barmy and only get round to playing it about half an hour after the buzzer origionally went. It really would be a unique situation.
