For the 3rd Season Running: The Old Windmill

Hiya guys

Has anyone else had enough of the off season yet? Can't wait for the weather to get colder again and the dark nights to start drawing in, cause that always means I have a hockey game to attend ;D

So anyway, back to the point of the post:

Again this season, the Windmill is running the usual promo's for the hockey fans. 10% off food, buy 2 get one free on selected drinks, etc, showing the games before the match, yada yada yada. Exactly the same set up as last year, so i won't reitterate as I am sure your all sick of hearing it.

I do however want to ask if anyone has any idea's on something new for us to do. We've had a few ideas in the past that have never really seemed to get off the ground (ie The Blaze poker night) due to player commitments, or pub bookings clashing. If anyone has an idea, let me know and we will see what we can do. :-)

As the Blaze org now run Crosbys, should the fans not be supporting this and putting some extra coffers into the pocket of the Blaze rather than else where?.

I'm sorry I wasn't aware that Crosbys did trad ales and food! Not to mention the fact that we're sponsoring the blaze too this season!

I can never find it- they dont teach us map reading in dudley in case we try to escape. How do I get there from the car park in the roundabout

walking from that car park- id still like to get a black country supporters club up and running and do a bus at least once a month- a mini bus like not a double decker not yet anyhow!!!

Crosbys is somewhere to get a drink during a Blaze game. The Windmill is a venue for before and after for those who think it is treachery to not go to Crosbys
