Finally! Although 2 years sooner would have been better. Time to put something decent on C4 over the summer.

And the papers today say Davina is talking out of her posterior. Spokesman for Endemol stated that the current deal has TWO more to run at ELstree BB10 and next Januarys Celebrity affair. During which negotiations are ongoing for a new contract and also to change to a different location than the one used since 2002. Don't know really why people moan about it being on given that there are over 500 other channels to watch if they really need programmed television. Anyway without Big Brother Channel 4 would be forced to close due to the lack of advertising revenue and other income the show brings. Certain anti BB papers claim "viewing figures are not good" however there is no way of ever knowing how many people watch a show. I believe there are something like 200,000 sets in the entire UK (Population 55 Million +) that give readings to "audience compilers". For example to pour water on the accuracy- in my house I have 4 television sets. If I had them all on the same channel would that show 4 viewers? How do they tell whether 1 person is watching the same set or 20.? Things to think about when quoting tabloids. Also if something is watched by hardly anybody does it not still have its merits to continue? Think about how many people watch ice hockey compared to other forms of entertainment..... Long live Big Brother  P.S. I wish they'd get the boring cricket off the telly |
