www.coventryblaze.co.uk/news_latest.php?id=744So basically as well as the unfortunate loss of Basingstoke Bison from the league the competion formats have been shaken up a little bit. Looks like the Challenge Cup is being extended (I am guessing teams will play everyone in their group twice) with the final being a one off game at a neutral venue (something I like a lot). The Knockout Cup is no more (shame but probably for the best as it was never going to take off the way we all hoped), but a new competition will be introduced in its place. Be interesting to see what the playoff format will be.

Looks like the Challenge Cup is being extended (I am guessing teams will play everyone in their group twice) That's good However, imo, this is not. More the neutral venue thing rather than the one off game thing. Challenge Cup, Play-offs and league is enough. Knockout cup (or it's replacement) is too much.

9 may start but I doubt all will finish. The play offs could be the most pointless since 2003
