Didn't somebody once say you can't win the league with a British net-minder? Yay! That means the title's ours... ;D How do we sort the points out in the next 3 weeks, though? PJ

I'm loving this. I think that Lehman is easily the best goalie in the league anyway and has been fairly consistant ever since he first came over to Britain. I'm happy to have him play for GB. In fact, i'm all for "dual-nats" that help make our national team better and want to play for their adoptive country.

Does this now mean that he won't be classed as an import for whatever club he plays for next season, freeing up an extra import slot?

He won't leave the House Of Steel until he retires. If he does free up an import slot for them next year they should have a pretty impressive roster.

I would absolutly love it if he came back to Blaze, it would almost make the £15 entry fee reasonable.

I would absolutly love it if he came back to Blaze, it would almost make the £15 entry fee reasonable. It will never happen. He has found his hockey home and Blaze can't really afford him. Anyway you hated Jody last week until you turned on the Blaze at the end of the game and started sardonically cheering for Lehman

Does this now mean that he won't be classed as an import for whatever club he plays for next season, freeing up an extra import slot? The EIHL determine imports by the need for an ITC card. Jody will always need one of those because he started playing the game in Canada and will be classed as an import under the current rules. However, other European leagues are different and his British passport will allow him the play in a none import role in some countries so I'd be surprised to see him back at Steelers.
