I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, of course you can. I'm saying that you don't seem to care about the team unless they finish 1st. IMO that isn't right, you should support them no matter where they finish in the league and no matter how many wins or losses they have in a season. .
Are you saying that to be a supporter and to care about your club you should follow it blindly, defend every decision it makes no matter how poor, be happy with losing and delighted at failing to retain your title?
No, I'm saying look at the positive side. Ok they might not win the league, but they may very well finish 2nd, which IMO is a lot better than any place below 2nd.
It sounds to me that a true fan to you is a happy clapper and you look down on others fans with disdain becuase you feel that you are a superior fan? Perhaps your £15 is a better £15 than mine?
Jeser Petus Of course I don't think that! I just don't think fans should expect the same result every single season when all teams in the league are completey different from the previous season.
Perhaps you should respect the fact that people feel differently about certain things and respect their right to do so. I'm sure you wouldn't be overly happy if I started to tell you how to feel!?
I do respect that other people have their own opinions (as I've already stated in this thread) You have a right to voice your opinion, and I have a right to reply to that with my own opinion. I'm not trying to tell you how to feel.
I think that considering the team we have (and the players that left after last season), Blaze have done very well this season, and IMO I would think a lot of fans would be happy with that (certainly a lot happier than if we finished 10th)
Whatever, this is a pointless argument and I can't be bothered.
I'm happy with finishing in the top 4th, you're not happy with anything other 1st.
And I've got more important things to worry about.
