Continental Cup Superfinal.

Today saw the first round of games in the 08/09 superfinal being held in Rouen, France.

First game saw favourites for the title, MHC Martin of Slovakia beat Belarusians Keramin Minsk 5-1.

The afternoon game was between the hosts, Rouen Dragons and everyone's favourite Italian team, Bolzano Interspar Foxes. Despite being slight favourites to finish bottom of the group, Bolzano upset the hosts by beating them 3-1. Former Dundee Stars d-man Christian Borgatello got the 3rd goal.

Wonder if the Bolzano fans are having to suffer any police brutality from the French. I doubt it. Shame.
