Blaze have had a great season and hopefully will have a good one retaining the 3 trophies. hopefully we will still have a similar team.

Well we didn't have a bad season did we.
Best Bits: Obviously the nights we clinched the three trohpies Beating Cardiff Devils 6-1 That cracking night at NIC from the Dougie moment onwards BT Williams giving JJ "The Gypsie" a good battering Chris McNamera signing and being outstanding. Having a laugh with the Giants fans during the last two league games of the season
Worst Bits: Losing away in Dundee Getting lost coming back from Dundee (although we saw the funny side) Pavol getting injured (although Lukac did great)

Does the cross over league not count as part of the grandslam?

well technically there are four trophies available in the eihl and the blaze only won three! also would the announcer at the finals not have announced it as the grandslam instead of the treble?

The announcers aren't always right. Seriously though, throughout the season nobody knew whether there would be a trophy for the Crossleague games, and nobody was really keeping a track of the standings except top-of-the-table Giants. I believe the only programme that printed the standings was the Giants as well. I doubt too many Coventrian tears will be shed over not getting the nothing-trophy. Well done Giants!

Well because there was a crossover league which Coventry didn't win,you cannot claim to have won every competition and therefore you did not win a grand slam this year.

i thought that because it had something to do with the BNL it wasnt part of the EIHL grand slam... so there fore we've won it... or am i wrong?

As far as I am concerned the Crossover League/National League/Crossover Cup (whatever its called) wasn't even a competition. It was just a set of statistics. Like The Hurricane said it was only mentioned in the Belfast Giants program.
Don't get me wrong though Belfast have played some great hockey this season and have been a pleasure to watch, so they deserve some bragging rights.

Finally the Chief has found someone with the same intellect as himself Well done Ali. Next you know teams will be wanting to include some other mickey mouse thing played between themselves and another BNL team
