Another successful calender year is almost over but what has been your main highpoint of 2008? Also what memory will most stick in your head when you think of Blaze in 2008?

No doubt about it, winning the league again was the highpoint, but what I'll remember most is probably the 2 wins in Europe.

I'd prety much agree with that. Being Elite League Champions is what really matters. The game that sticks out most for me is Nottingham away when we beat them 5-1. Dave and I decided spur of the moment that we'd go and watch it and we were rewarded for the decision when Blaze put on a real show for us. Was trying to think who had been Blaze hero of the year but didn't want to name any individual player so will have to give that accolade to Dr Thompson, with a special mention to Luke Chabot for taking charge of the team that weekend in Thommo's absense.

Winning the league, without a doubt. Although, like Steph, i'll always remember the 2 wins in Bolzano being special, especially as we also ran the host REALLY close too.

Even though the title was grinded to rather than swashbuckled to it still is the measuring stick.

Winning the league and agree with Rich, 5-1 in Nottingham was special.

Winning the league, but the trip to Europe was special, because not many teams get that opportunity.
