Interestingly it doesn't specify whether Thomo is looking for new blood or a shuffle with what he has at his disposal.
In the Telegraph the article speaks of changes in a plural context.
Watch this space I guess.

Personally I think JF is a very good net minder and wouldn't want to see him go. Unfortunately the problem JF does have is the defence in front of him. However, I disagree with laying all the blame at the feet of Le Clair. After a somewhat shocking performance away at Cardiff and a second rate performance at home to Cardiff, I think Thommo needs to reavaluate his allgiance towards Weaver. Standing looking at the puck in front of JF allowing the Devils to just force it under him into the net was not what I thought a D-man was supposed to do. I'm sure I'm not the only to feel this way.

It's not particularly top notch defending if that is what he did, but apart from that Weaver rarely makes many mistakes. He's worth more than any import d-man basically just because he's british and he's equally as good as ANY import d-man in Britain at the moment.

Weaver rarely makes many mistakes. Up until November I'd have him down as making as many if not more mistakes than Concrete. The game in Sheffield in particular was a complete horror show with the Blaze D turning the puck over 30+ times in the first 40 minutes - Weaver the main culprit. Now that he has Coleman to take some of the pressure off I hope he can return to the sort of performaces we became acustomed to last year. What I would say is that I don't think he as good a player under Thommo as he was Wilson.

Weaver isn't as strong defensively as he is offensively, but still easily the best British defenceman. I think sometimes fans look for imperfections in Weaver's game because some fans rate him so highly. Also because he has alot of pressure to be so good on the transition, this can lead to mistakes, even the best players sometimes don't have great games. He hasn't had his best season but he is still top class at this level.

Corry Leclair has signed for the Panties so it hasn't turned out too bad for him while the Blaze appear to be no stronger or weaker .

Good luck to him - and them - they're gonna need it IMO.

Where does it say that he has signed for Panthers? If this is true then its a massive own goal from Blaze point of view seen as they are playing them tonight. Unless Blaze want to play against him?

Well it's true we have signed LeClair, but he will debut against Phoenix on Sunday, not tonight. Debate on The Cage is whether this is a good move or not, and who he will be replacing. Seems most think it is bye bye Ndur, no opinion myself on this transfer. Fans were slagging off Corey Neilson for signing NM Robinson from the Caps, now most fans call him Robostop , could it be the same for LeClair. Only time will tell, as for tonights game, I think it all depends on which Panthers team turn up ;D, it's all a bit hit and miss this season. ;D Walter.
