Just received a textually transmitted message stating that the above is no more from the Blaze. Has anybody else heard something to confirm or deny this?

Rumour on the hockey forum saying that last night was his last game for the Blaze. Wouldn't be suprised if it's true. In fact, i'm more suprised he's managed to stay for this long!

Either way the man is destined for great things, perhaps we will see him win a figuring skating gold at the next Winter Olympics. Just a shame he isn't British as I would be proud to have him representing my country.

Shame, I liked this guy but I think to retain the league changes needed to be made.

Dave - did we witness perhaps the greatest ever panicking play by a defenceman during the game against Bolzano? How many times did he cough up the puck in one shift? It was annoying at the time, but in hindsight, fairly funny!!

If this is true does it mean that Thommo has someone new to bring in?
Only I think it would be strange to get rid of someone when were not 100% sure that Matty will be back this weekend and Danny Stewart is going to have a scan, anyone is better than being short benched.

If LeClair goes we may well keep Coleman with Matty returning, although I'd like to see a bit more offense from our D, but really I think it will be a simple LeClair out, Coleman stays.
If Perras goes then its a shame, I am a fan of Perras, would be interesting to see who replaces him.

I hope Perras doesn't go and hopefully the shut out against the Devils will have helped him to stay. Agree with eckland though why make changes if it's not certain Matty will be back?

Reliably informed tonight that he has gone. Apparently not so reliable.... from www.coventryblaze.co.uk"Paul Thompson has today confirmed that he has placed American defenceman, Corey LeClair on two weeks´ notice. LeClair will continue to be part of the Blaze roster during this time and a final decision about his future with the club will be made after the two week period has elapsed. "Corey will be part of this hockey club for the next two weeks at least," said Thompson. "I´ll take another look at the situation after that. I have a lot of things to look at over the next week or so including Jon Coleman´s contract which expires after next weekend, Matt Soderstrom´s fitness and the extent of Danny Stewart´s injury. "As those things become clearer or get resolved, I´ll be in a better position to determine how I want the make up of the team to be for the final part of the season."" No mention of Perras.
