Just 2 days to go to the big Skydome Showdown with the Panthers "If you've not got your ticket yet, don't leave it too long" says Blaze General Manager, James Pease ahead of Sunday's blockbuster against the Nottingham Panthers at the Skydome. "Our games against the Panthers this season have been the best games at the Skydome and with the words that have been said by both camps since the last meeting, I'd expect this to be the best of the lot." "This one won't be for the faint hearted, that's for sure. Right now, the two teams don't particularly like each other very much and with both of us chasing for the league title, there is going to be absolutely nothing left in either team's locker room." "Whilst standing tickets will be available on the door on the night of the game, if you want to get a seat, you really should book quickly - and that goes for both Blaze and Panthers fans. Nottingham supporters have already more than filed their first block of seats and they should now book in Block 7. "Whether you end up sitting, standing or hanging from the roof though, the most important thing is to be there. If you've got friends or family who wonder what all the fuss is about this great sport of ours, bring them along to this one. There will never be a better time to come and watch a real pre Christmas block buster." Tickets are available for the game which faces off at 6pm on Sunday by calling the box office on 02476 630693 or by booking online anytime via the Blaze website - www.coventryblaze.co.uk.

As they're Team Hollywood does anyone think it would be funny if Dalziel shouted (And got the fans to join in) "CUT" at each break in play, with "OK from the top" to recommence? ;D

That would be funny but I don't think it would go down to well with a lot of Panthers fans despite them being such a mild mannered bunch of people.

Well we came we saw Erm isn't that quote attributed to a Roman Emperor? WHat are they teaching in Gun City these days? Actually not correctly translated from the latin but never mind, it was cleaned up by William Shakespeare though ( know his work do you old chap) and uttered by many an actor from his script. Obviously you were behind the bike shed having a fag or worse when it was media studies! Also more gun crimes in and around your area of South Birmingham so think you should desist with the gun city label. also bunked off current affairs as well mate did you hey!

Gun City is a TABLOID nickname and therefore not created on Ice Hockey messageboards....unlike Chaventry How one wonders did it get there? Go on figure it out. Coventry and indeed much of the southerly side of the newly created Greater Birmingham area does have its problems, but as yet insufficient to obtain a stereotype like Nottingham, Manchester, Liverpool and others. Let us worry about young thugs in Coventry whilst you worry about your locals with their "toys". That way all of us civilised types will be happy. Yes I do possess the complete works of the Bard. And no I didn't do media studies or any of the much easier education subjects these days. I was around for the end of proper qualifications and managed to scoop 100% of all subjects I undertook......including English Literature. Your peurile attempts at humour come across as immature. Also starting sentences with lower case letters suggests an IQ in single figures.
