Being a bit sociable

We've been plotting recently ;D just some stuff to distract y'all from the abysmal weather and the looming recession.

If you're around town before the game on Sunday - come round the Windmill and have a drink and some food with the Devils - we'll be around from 3:30 - if it helps twist your arm - they have real fires and real ale - children are welcome - just don't feed the dog.

Next Wednesday (i.e. next week - i.e. not December 3rd) - we're going to do some Karaoke - so again down the Windmill from about 7:30pm - there'll be prizes and forfeits just to keep it a bit festive.

At some point before Christmas we might invade the Dragon Phoenix/Wing Wah/or similar for dinner and then maybe a couple of beers somewhere - email me : web dot bod at gmail. com

I've spoken to the guy who does our Kareokie and he says if we want Blaze related songs he can accomidate us, so if you have any ideas or have a buring desire to sing We are the champions in stadium rock style drop me a post, pm, e mail note by carrier pigion and you wish will be granted. :-)

(as a side note, Wardy - lead singer of Saxon will be popping in to give us a tune)

Karaoke was a laugh - six of us brought the house down with our musical stylings - the next session is in the new year - it would be great to see a few more of you down there!

Karaoke was 24 hours too early for me to attend due to work the next day. However after my rendition of Ernie last time maybe the lucky ones were those who were there ;D

Ok, we're heading out for dinner on Friday night 8pm over to the Dragon Phoenix - have learned from the previous two events and have pre-booked a gang of people.

Anyway - you're still welcome to join us - but you need to let me know in the next day or two (so I can book some tables) - otherwise it's pot lick where you wind up sitting.

It should be a bit of a laugh we're either heading upstairs to karaoke (again) or out for a few beers afterwards.

The Dragon Phoenix is across the ring road from the Skydome they serve a Chinese buffet - we'll be there from 8pm on Friday.
