My dad says to get rid of 'that idiot' behind the microphone, or there might be one less going in future! Dalziel? I agree his camp style isn't to everybodys (Or is it just me ) taste, however he is popular with the kids. I must say that I loved the old school style of the Telford mic guy who did the honours on Wednesday was excellent

I actually like JD's style, he has this way of stiring up atmosphere.

dont think the tickets are to bad, but you always pay more to watch a successful team. dont agree with changing to a saturday as it would mean choosing between football and ice hockey. as a baggies fan would not get back to watch a saturday game at the dome, also it would mean being out all day.

Well this week the Blaze do play on a Saturday so I will be coming straight from football. Some teams play more football on Sundays due to being in demand by television and in European competition so the Saturday option would only generally hinder fans of less successful football clubs

For me personally I go to all Coventry City home games, and any Saturday away games that don't fall on work days. I work two Saturday's in three. I would never have a day where I went work, football then hockey and its unlikely I would have a day where I did football away and then hockey. So basically to cut it short I could make Saturday games but would miss one every so often either due to fact I would have already done work followed by football or due to the fact I would have been on a football away day.

Saturday for me just wouldn't work! I couldn't justify being off on a saturday late shift every week as it can get quite busy, however Sundays I have managed it, as it is the slowest day of the week at work

The worse thing about the games for is the queues for food and drinks. It is even more annoying when you get there and they have sold out or that stall doesnt sell what you want. I dont think the Blaze can do anything about it to be honest but it is the biggest annoyance for me.
With the ticket prices you can vote with your wallet but when you pay to get in, queue from the hot dog stand to the bench and then miss a goal because you are paying it is a wounder.
I quite like Dalziel, he isnt going to be to everyones taste but he does what he does well and gets the kids into it. I am usually talking or queuing during the period breaks so I dont pay much attention but if the kids are happy and dancing about it means the parents arent getting grief by sugared up excited youngsters

About 5 or so of the Grumpy Old Men on the Elite (?) forum would like a reduction in noise from Block 11 They'll always find something to moan about.

does it really matter where the noise comes from as long as we get behind the team. how many of the people having a go on the Elite will be going to Italy to support the team when we need to make as much noise as possible

Totally agree. It seems to be the same handful every Monday who just love to moan. Maybe the guys at the back should have a week off so that the Grumpys can go back to their usual topics of saying (In their obvious expertise) which players should be replaced
