Rumours have it that its about to be turned into a film, with some geezer called Ice Cube taking on the role of BA.

Ice Cube is one cool dude, however each of the roles would be a pale imitation of the original...bit like Starsky & Hutch, Dukes of Hazzard & Miami Vice which all flopped on the big screen for that reason
