Blaze boost gives Steelers food for thought

Coventry Blaze - who beat Sheffield Steelers to the league championship but lost in the Play Offs to them - have completed the signing of Canadian winger, Barrie Moore for a fourth season.
Blaze are considered as the team Steelers must topple if they are going to win the league this season.

But it was a boost for Blaze today, when the former Buffalo Sabres draftee re-joined. He has made 213 appearances for the club, recording 173 points including 78 goals.

Thirty-three year old Moore played thirty-nine games in the NHL, for Washington, Buffalo and Edmonton and since joining the Blaze has helped the team to two bmibaby Elite League titles, one Challenge Cup and one British Knockout Cup.

Well, the Star has released something that ever Blaze fan already knew.
I'm sure the Blaze organisation won't be to impressed, but really we already knew he was back.
I don't know how to feel about this, depends if we had the finances available to look elsewhere, as by all accounts he is very affordable. He does a job, but I would have liked to have seen some fresh blood.

I don't rate Barrie as highly as some people but when he 'turns up' he is a good player.

Barrie works hard and scores good goals!! just not often enough!! not a bad player tho!!
