I went to the Projekt Revolution gig at the national bowl in Milton Keynes yesterday and it was awesome.
Believe it or not, it was my first ever live gig so i didn't know what the hell to expect - but i really enjoyed every minute of it.
There was 7 bands altogether, starting with a band i'd never heard of (InsidePartySystem) who were ok. Then the Bravery which was a little below par in my opinion. Then there was Enter Shikari which were quality (never heard their music before) so that was a pleasant surprise. Next up was N*E*R*D, who were very good. The major surprise of the event was next, when Pendulum came on.............nearly 65,000 people loving it, they were amazing. Really got the crowd involved, and i'm quite a fan after seeing them now. I'd only heard one or 2 of their tracks before. Jay-Z (or Jay-Zed as everyone was calling him) was on next and despite singing a couple of his big hits, he didn't really do anything for me! Next up was the band that everyone had come to see - Linkin Park - they totally rocked out the whole place. Mixing it up with early and modern stuff. EVERYONE was singing along.
Anyway, just felt like posting this because i had an amazing time. Just wanted to see if anyone else went too?

Glad you had a good time mate, would have loved to have seen pendulum. The last time i was at the MK Bowl was in 2005 watching Green Day (Bullet in a Bible) - Quite possibly the best gig i've seen...period.

Were you not wearing a top?
When me and Gaz went to the Bowl for Green Day i was dehydrated, they reckon it had something to do with the beer intake....surely not? lol

They were ok, but nothing special. I had no money either - luckily i had a cousin that really wanted to go, and her only way of getting there was to buy me a ticket too!! haha. The enter shikari drummer is mental. He was doing all sorts of crazy stuff including dancing like Borat at one point. The lead singer got up in front of everyone and said "I wanna see this crowd go mental, i need everyone to go Chicken Jalfrezi!".
