Over the past few years I'v only got as far as watching the launch before ending my interest in the show. However this year, there seems to be some normality in the house (compared to other years anyway), having a blind guy in there is seen as controversal by some but as far as I'm concerened if he's happy to be there then fair play to him. Theres also an albino in there who I think looks a bit like Kane from WWE and of course for the first time ever there is a contestant flying the flag for Coventry. I cant comment on all the contestants due to the fact I went to sleep before last night's show was over, but saw the first five contestants enter and think there is a good balance in there for a decent show, especially with the secret mission going on where two of the housemates have to pretend to be boyfriend and girlfriend. Think Dale seems a bit of a numpty (couldn't think of a better word to use without swearing) but that could be a good thing if other housemates get wound up by him as it could provoke arguments, making good tv.

Nope, it's Rebecca, the screeching banshee.
BB9 summed up in ten seconds...
Rachel's gorgeous, Dale is a see-you-next-Tuesday and Rebecca means that now no-one will be proud to admit being a Coventrian. I seriously thought we were going to get a chorus of the atrocity that is the Sky Blue Song on the way in...

Watched Rebecca's entrance on YouTube. She is a bit OTT no doubt about it but she is who she is and until she says or does anything nasty or offensive I say good luck to her. At least she knows where she comes from. Good to read that within half an hour of entering the house she was talking about The Enemy. I'd like to see her stay in there for while.

Rebecca will do for Coventry what Bonnie did for Leicester 2 years back.
Apart from her and the Thai most of the girls are decent. That said Dale will win courtesy of the schoolgirl vote.

There is one thing missing from BB9...
Kiar Byrne. Every year I think that he would be absolutely amazing on BB.
I got a bit of stick from the lads when watching BB on Thursday about her being from Coventry, but I hope she does well. She is proud to be from Coventry and I think that she will be good for the City, hopefully she calms down and becomes a bit of a harmless, loveable character.

Watched last night's show. I'm loving the secret mission thats going on with Mario and Steph. Found it funny when Rachel was chatting to Big Brother about the two of them saying what a nice couple they are. As for impressions I have received about some of the housemates, Darnell and Mohamed could turn out to be good contestants while Kathreya comes across as being a bit mentally unstable. Luke is Wigan's answer to my mate Kiar.

Alexandra is a sharp cookie (Bit like Charley from last year but with brains) and has virtually guessed the secret task. Even more crucially she is questioning what the implications would be if she reveals it.
This series is starting strong with some potential good characters.
Like Rachel, Stephanie, Jenny, Sylvia, Darnell, Dale, Alexandra, Luke
Don't mind Mario, Lisa, Rex, Dennis, Mohammed
Not keen Kathryea, Rebecca, Michael

After watching last night's show I think those that believe Rebecca is giving Coventry a bad name should count their blessings that she is the Coventrian in the house and not Alexandra. Alexandra is a horrible human being and the sooner she is chucked out the better.

Well after 1 week Stephanie has gone whereas it should have been the "Italian" Onion Mario. There is just something about Alex "bullying" others when she is often in a minority of 3:1 ;D Bex is coming across as a budget version of Jade Goody Still at least Coventry has a "star" to switch on the Christmas lights instead of going for the cousin of somebody who got to X Factor Boot Camp. Most of the men are coming across as a bit wimpish with only Rex approaching anywhere near Alpha Male status. And sorry I don't see the value of the Nancy Lam mini me Kat. Go Alex...keep it real girl

I have a feeling Mario will be up for eviction and be the recipient of the edit to get him out. Alex is providing column inches and interest which will have the producers doing their absolute best to ensure that one of the bigger characters does not go out too early like in past years.
By the way how freakish is the shape of Rex's head?

Does anyone still watch this or has the novelty worn off after the housemates entered the house? Yawn!!

I would watch it if the highlight show wasn't on at the ridiculas time of 10pm. Don't Channel 4 realise that legends like me who work all day need to fit in at least 7 hours a night sleep in order to stay healthy.
Anyway apparently its Alex and Mario up for eviction this week. I hope the public make the right decision and vote Alex out
