trev has been top dog in the EIHL for the past few years, at his age, he can only look to get the most money as possible, and as places like Denmark are able to give so much wages, he;s sorted

Shame to see him go, but Blaze have a history of having outstanding netminders, so I look forward to seeing his replacement.

The reason players are being poached by Danish clubs is because by international standards - players who've played in GB are relatively cheap, compared to players coming from Sweden, Germany or North America. However in order to enjoy the 'researchers tax' (no idea why it's called that) of 25%, compared to roughly 50% normally, foreign players have to earn more than 756.000kr (about £75.000) a year. So top players playing in the UK will obviously be tempted away. It has to be said that Danish clubs don't have access to infinite funds (and most Danish players are still only playing part-time), so the exodus from Britain won't go on for much longer I suspect... Still I'm sure you'll recuperate and still be in with a chance next season.
