Would you enjoy Blaze games more if they had an enforcer/entertainer playing week in week out? For example, Kurt Irvine, Andre Payette, Wade Belak..
Or does it not matter to you in the slightest?
Discuss....

I dont think that having one would make me enjoy games any more, but they are always good to watch.

Players like that do make games more entetaining and enjoyable to watch, especially for newcomers. Theres deffinatly a place for them sort of players but only IF they improve the team as well as entertain the fans.

I think we will have another tough guy in this year to replace Ndur, but obviously someone that is skilled enough to not be a waste of an import slot, especially with just 10 imports now. Maybe someone similar to Steve Munn, experienced and tough.

Brad Voth in a Blaze shirt would instantly become the biggest hero in CV1

I like Voth alot. I think he is quite dirty, but I disagree with anyone that says he tries to injure people. He seems like a great team guy and I'd love him in a Blaze jersey, although i believe he has resigned for Cardiff.

i enjoy hockey, fighting/enforcers/big hits/idiots if you like are part of hockey and make it all that more interesting. So yes i would like to see someone who would like to knock someones teeth out but only as it doesn't stop our success.

i think you have to protect your players and ensure they feel comfortable when out on the ice. there are many ways to win a game: tough defence, spped, out hitting and intimidation...you need to be able to change a game accordingly. when we had toughness throughout the team (belak, schlender, payette, schuller) we won everything...i would always have at least one in defence (you don't want forwards crossing the blue line without looking over their shoulder) and one up front (to get at the defenders and netminder). current example in the nhl would be Ruttu alongside Lerock and Gill (and they just made the Stanley cup final)
