The moderators of the Blaze forum have taken note of a thread that was posted on the Devils forum recently, please read:
We have noticed that the Blaze forum has been suffering from the same problems, therefore:
We now aim to cut out the silly chit-chat amongst certain members on this forum. Please use the forum Chat Room or Personal Messaging (PM's) to chit-chat to friends or other forum members. We hope this will give a chance for new members to join in the discussions on the Blaze Forum. If members ignore the above, we will take the appropriate action.
Thankyou,
Blaze Forum Moderators.
Is it me, or is this forum beginning to resemble a school playground?
Ok, so EVERYONE has a right to post, but it seems to be divided into two. Young and old.
Ok, let me state for the record, that at the grand old age of 42 I probably fall into the "old" category, and at risk fof sounding like a grumpy old git, it seems to me that there is way too much "idle chit chat" between the younger members. Many of the posts seem to turn into one line discussions between a small number of friends. While harmless in itself, this is flipping annoying to anyone outside of that small circle of friends, and I KNOW soem people are feeling alienated to the point that they no longer wish to post.
Am I asking younger members not to contribute to the forum? Hell no. What I AM asking for is a little consideration for EVERYONE. It's meant to be a forum for EVERYONE but it seems to be that anyone over a "certain age" is being forced out.
I dunno what others think, but whilst "bunnying" has reduced to a more acceptable level and "text talk" seems to be on the way out, the cliquey chats continue.
So let's please make this a place where EVERYONE is made to feel welcome huh?
