Given the posts about touch icing has made me wonder about which rules you would alter, bring back or get rid of if you had the choice.
My main one to introduce would involve more attention paid to defending teams moving the goal "accidentally" Any repeat offenders charged with a double bench minor as I find it the most frustrating aspect of the game at times

More penalties received for deliberately shooting the puck out of play whilst under pressure.......i know its in force for extreme cases but is not used enough IMO.
Also, i know it increases the prospect of more injuries in a game but i would love to see touch icing brought into the game, a la the ISL days. Makes the play more exciting and means you have to be quick to get there.
Last thing, i know you need level scores sometimes but it would be good fun if a sudden death penalty shootout was in force!

I would like to see the keeper "no touch area" behind the goal as in the AFL introduced. It would make a great Forward v defense chase to the corners.

I assume you mean the AHL... I would make any dropping of gloves a five-minute major, and the second an AUTOMATIC game-the 2+2 is a bit lenient in that it encourages scrapping for the most minor of infractions (and Andre is as guilty of this as any other player in the league). Perhaps it would remove some of the stupid scraps that have gone on this season, and encourage the skill players slightly more. I'm not against fighting but neither do I want to see incompetents like Cornish and Ewasko trying to kick off with Payette, Calder, Carlson etc every five minutes...or, if you're not a Blaze fan, 'incompetents like Payette trying to kick off with Ahlroos/Cadotte/any other poor little Panther' Checking to the head an automatic game-perhaps it wouldn't set Romaniuk off then... If the goal is deliberately moved off to prevent a goalscoring chance, a penalty shot is awarded to the attacking team-I'll bet Kudrna/Klempa/(in some cases) Jody would be less inclined to delay the game. A drawn game goes into penalty-shots after five minutes of four-on-four, should the scores be level. Icing to be moved back-so if the puck is dumped from behind a team's own blue-line, then play is whistled-otherwise not.

Can't because a Major equals an automatic game misconduct.
Worst rule change the IIHF ever did.
I have to say though PW, i'd agree with pretty much all of them in an ideal world.
I'll guess we'll have to wait until next summer to find out what the IIHF intends to do as thats the next rules review...

I assume you mean the AHL... Yep, my bad. I'd also like to see sudden death overtime with no time limit - just full periods - for the semi final and final of the challenge cup(second legs) and the playoffs. I think penalty shootouts are unfair for such important matches.
