If the points are shared between Belfast and Cardiff on Thursday and Friday Blaze will be champions. If not then it will be down to us to win it infront of our home crowd on Sunday.

We need 1 point to tie, and 2 to win. My earlier post was made after I knew it was in overtime, but before we had won.
BTW who wins the league if its level on the points (what is the method for deciding this.)
And finally Go Blaze!!!

I can't see the Giants Vs Devils game ending with a draw, not when they both (from their point of view) need to win

Yeah but it could easily be that on one night one wins then the other nite the other does... is that the same as drawing both nights??

Yes but if both teams are trying to win, they could both cancel each other out.
And I believe that Blaze have finished at least 2nd, whatever happens now.

Can anyone answer this question for me please:
What happens if Giants or Devils win both of there upcoming games against eachother, giving one of them 4 points? Do the Blaze still win the EIHL on Sunday if they beat Racers?
How does the table stand after tonights game and can Giants/Devils still make the Belfast weekend, the title deciding weekend?
Thanks.

We may not need to beat the Racers on Sunday evening.
Belfast play Cardiff twice at the O on Thursday & Friday this week. If they both only manage to get 2 points, we are the crowned champions with 3 games to play.
If Giants win both, they still have to go and beat the Steelers in shefield on sunday night.
If they win all three and beat Blaze twce, they will deserve it, but Blaze only have to beat Racers to win it whatever Belfast do!.

Blaze 72 Pts, 3 to play Giants 63 pts 5 to play (Max 73 pts) Devils 63 Pts 5 to play (max 73 pts)
If level on Pts it goes down to wins in regulation time.
Blaze 28 wins Giants 25 wins Devils 24 wins
