I have heard that we are going to lose almost half of our current players that we have had this season! The likes of Belak (NHL), Payette, Lehmann, and others are all rumoured to be leaving the 'Sky-Dome' at the end of the curent season!   If anyone knows of any players that are either leaving us, or joining us i would be grateful. Many thanks |

Never say never.
Most contracts are only for a year at a time anyway and player turnover is always high.
The returnees and new players hitting the rumour mill are what keeps us entertained in the long summer months between the play off finals and the start of the new season.

I'l be happy providing all our old school players, Tait, Poirier, Cowley, Watkins, Pease, Lehman, Schlender all stay. I'd also like to see Chris McNamera stay because he is a class act and also Neal Martin and Doug Schuller. As much as I'd like to see Wade and Andre stay I doubt they will. Wade will go back to Toronto which will be a disapointment but then again all the NHL players playing in Britain will go back so things will be evened out. Andre is strongly rumoured to be on his way out too and although I don't usually believe rumours this one has been going around for a while and I could see why other teams would want Andre on their roster. Also expect an old Blaze favourite to return to the club.

To be honest i won't be surprised either way about Andre, if he goes he goes if he stays he stays.I only hope that if he does go they find a Andre like character to replace him.I can think of a number of players that,in theroy could fill that role.They probably never will,as not many people i mention them to seem to of heard of them, but theres no harm in wishing  . |

moborg would bve nice, good shot, tough d man from what l cna remember, slammed ware a few times and has skill in a bundence. If no neal then him or neal, joef, andreas and dougie and peasy what a d line up
every game josef plays now l fear for pavol's slot.

Its just a feeling that I have from putting 2 and 2 together that a certain player will return. I don't want to say who though because its not something that I know and its not a rumour I have heard from anywhere it is just a feeling and I don't want to look stupid if it doesn't happen.

Hmm interesting.
For what it's worth the only former players I could ever see returning would be the Brits up at Newcastle if things go wrong up there again.
As for your rumour Rich...wouldn't be a current squealer would it?
