...well we haven't set out quite yet! We will be leaving early on Sunday morning to come down to you guys and play our wee Scottish/Canadian hearts oot! Yeah! The fans who are going are really looking forward to it, despite some very hazardous road conditions up here. Two known busloads are coming, and perhaps more in cars! I hope your bar is properly stocked up! Hopefully we can have some good banter with you guys and be treated like old friends! You guys looking forward to it? YEAH! (I don't mean anything by posting this smiley, Slash just rocks...)

In the nicest possible way, I think everyone on here hopes you make the journey back having seen the Flyers lose... If you're as good as the Dundee fans were, then you'll make a lot of friends as well as renewing the Blaze-Flyers rivalry...

Can one of you guys have a word with the Flyers team as they used to have this silly habit of setting off late in the morning of the game causing a fairly long delay in getting started. ;D

I remember seeing some great games between Blaze and Flyers, one that sticks out was when Blaze won 4-3 after Flyers went 3-0 up. I was standing by the plexi glass that evening, Joel Poirier was amazing. Fife brought a fair few fans down that night too who made a fair bit of noise. I almost felt sorry for them all having to take an 8 hour coach journey home after seeing their team lose, although Blaze fans have been in the same situation before, travelling up to Dundee and coming back dissapointed.

Flyers fans are no strangers to long distance trips with no points, but its the event of the day and the fact that its a trip and not a journey that makes it so great!
Briliant stuff!
Hope to see a lot of fans in the skydome! Flyers may not have been hitting any headlines, but the team are looking better now and have hunger, it should be a great match ;D

Russ Monteith is still one of my favourite players. Fife were brilliant in his first season.
Hope you haven't any players as good as him!
It will be great to play the Flyers again... Where is Russ playing now?

I got my ticket for this game today. I have a feeling that the Sky Dome will be prety full considering all the publicity Blaze are getting right now.

Russel Monteith went back home to Canada due to some amount of homesickness i believe and made a breif appearance not too long ago for Frank Morris' testimonial game. I think he plays at some level over there but not sure of the details. I don't think we have anyone quite up to his standard (we may have if certain players are allowed to grow) but have plenty of good players. Look out for my friends and me wearing plenty of silly hats, expect singing and good times, we are a freindly bunch really, despite negative reports of Fife Ice Arena recently, and the hardcore supporters coming down are very approachable, i know many of them See you all there, we hope for a big crowd and a great atmosphere!

Do we think the Fife team have set off yet? I lay odds of 2-1 against them being there in time for the usual warm-up...
