What I think is ment, DW has two NHL 2nd liners lined up that have agreed to play for us if there is a lockout and will fit the wadge cap just to play and stay match fit.

Mark Kolesar in a Blaze shirt, anyone? From the CHL, ex-London Knight, possibly the best passer of a puck I've ever seen play live...and an absolute humdinger of a wrist-shot as well.

Jody has been linked with Bracknell, what I find worrying is you still havnt singned a netminder! which for me will be your key to the season, if you do pull it off and got Joe Watkins (who knows you may already have). You would become such a strong team from the point its going to br hard for orther teams to get goals.

Cadotte has also been linked back with Bracknell (where he played for a few years before Nottingham). Apparently the Panthers fans are getting a bit antsy that he hasn't re-signed with them...one of the stand-out players of last season, and there's been no news. They think that losing him and Jinman would be a tough blow (equivalent to us losing Shuggy and Task)

Another rumour-Corey Neilson from the Pensacola Ice Pilots-a defenceman who managed to net himself 19 goals and 59 assists in 72 games last season in the ECHL. Just maybe he could fill that offensive d-man hole that O'Brien's left...

Its a bit bad of the panthers to get antsy with him for not re-signing yet - its his career at the end of the day. Maybe he's still deciding what he wants to do - can't imagine him going to europe though. From what i read on the panthers message board he really likes England and Nottingham for that matter.
It would be a big blow if they did lose him, but a great gain for whoever he signs for.
