Taken from the BBC coventry site:
Four-pointer will bring grand slam closer Sat Daiwal Our ice hockey expert Sat Daiwal takes a look ahead to Coventry Blaze's weekend fixtures, which could bring them closer to a title win.
Coventry Blaze enter this weekend’s top-of-the-table showdown with the Belfast Giants full of confidence after securing a five goal lead in the first leg of the Challenge Cup final against the Cardiff Devils.
The win was superb as the team made the Devils look an ordinary outfit. They are surely only 60 minutes away from securing the club’s first ever cup trophy having come runners up in the Findus Cup final three seasons ago against the Fife Flyers.
This weekend Paul Thompson’s side visit Basingstoke. The Bison beat the Giants at home two weeks ago and lead 3 -0 at the Skydome Arena three weeks ago, before the Blaze produced a terrific comeback to win 6-3. It will be a difficult game as the Bison are desperate to secure their play-off place.
Then it’s the bigesest game of the season and one that could determine who takes the league Championship as Blaze take on Belfast.
With two encounters in Belfast to come, it is cruicial the Blaze get the win on Sunday night otherwise it will be Tony Hand’s side who will take the advantage and will be favourites to secure the league title.
The side are still on course to complete the Grand Slam and a four point weekend will take them a step closer. Anyone else feel predicting a grand slam is a little premature?

TBH the article doesn't say anything about perdicting if Coventry will win a grand slam, or not.
It just basically says who ever wins the game on Sunday will have a big advantage. I think everyone on this forum would say that anyway.
Although I wouldn't rule out Cardiff Devils either yet.

Talk of a double let alone a grand slam is very premature, and lest we forget there are still 60 minutes of hockey to play in the Challenge Cup final as yet
