No disrespect to past Blaze sides because they have never let us down but I think in the past after a result like the one last night the players would have got a bit complacent and maybe stuffed up in these two games. However you get the impression that the current team knows what it takes to be the best.
I'm predicting a high scoring win in Basingstoke and a hard fought win at the Dome on Sunday.

Bison have been playing well at home, so it may be a close one, but Blaze should edge it 2-1.
I think the Panthers will beat the Giants, so a win on Sunday would be the icing on the Cake.
Close one, as Giants have some seriously good goalscorers, but Blaze to win it 3-2.

I see us getting a comfortable if not easy win on Saturday, but the match on Sunday is the first part of a trilogy which could settle the destination of the title.
To paraphrase someone "It's the biggest match since.......ever"!
