What a game, ok there wern't a lot of goals but end to end stuff and great entertainment. Nice to see Blaze with a bit of discipline to, only one penalty called against us all game.
Oh yeah Jody Man Of The Match. Nobody can argue with that.

Thats exacly what I was thinking. I bet you don't slag off Jody everytime he makes a save and he did make a lot of them tonight.
I'm not being nasty but do you honestly not rate him as a netminder or did he just refuse you a dance in Jumping Jacks?

Expect a few more MOMs from Jody as this is the part of the season when he is at his best. Definately a big game player.
Todays game was much more entertaining than the dross witnessed last night oop north, at least the Panthers tried to make a game of it and Kirkham called it well and let the game flow properly.
On the whole we kept our discipline although against a team that wants to play hockey it is always easier than against teams who just want to niggle all the time (squalers). Thoroughly overjoyed with our record against the Panthers this year given how formidable they were last year and that on paper they still have the strongest squad

Can we just accept that not everyone likes every player and respect peoples views even if we don't necessarily understand their reasons.
For what it's worth I never quite saw what the fuss was about with Steve Roberts until near the end of that season, but didn't castigate those who worshipped him
