Think both games could go to overtime this weekend. Steelers with new management will be tough, Panthers with 3 new signings getting fitter will be tougher. I'll be happy with 3 points.
Are Adam Calder and James Pease available this weekend?

I can see us getting at least 3 points this weekend as both are the sort of games we excell in

Even though Sheffield and Nottingham aint top three sides anymore I still see them as being our toughest games. A 3-point weekend would be very satisfying. 4 would be better.

I think the Squealers match will set the tempo for the weekend as both teams appear to be physically afraid of us this season and don't have anything in their locker to counter us when things get rough, although we haven't seen yet what the new Panthers players bring to the table

Four Points no problem. We have learnt not to go into overtime and let rocket have the puck. Four Points and watch the Giants quake

Maybe in hindsight the Dundee game will be looked at as the shot in the arm we need to keep the focus going right until the end

I can see Blaze possibly dropping to third this weekend-worst-case scenario of losing both games and the other two teams winning. However, realistically I think Blaze can expect to lose one of the two-likely tomorrow's game-Cardiff have Fife and Edinburgh so on paper they can take an easier four-point weekend then either Belfast or ourselves.
However, I am known for pessimism-even as Dougie's shot hit the net at the NIC in the CC semi I was saying 'Blaze are out of this now...'

Well it wasn't pretty (Mainly down to the squralers game) but a regulation time win is very welcome. The squealers spoil the game tactics meant this was probably the worst match this season that I have witnessed, and at £13 a pop no wonder their fan base is dwindling alarmingly. Their program hits out at their drop in membership of their Victory Vault program but who can seriously blame the squealers after everything else they have to pay for per game there it takes the mick. Had to laugh at a program column which bemoaned the "inflated pricing" for the play offs suggesting that attendances "Will suffer as a result". My suggestion to the squealers management is- get your own house in order with regards to affordable pricing structure before slating others. Things that made me laugh, Instead of GSTQ as national anthem they had a (very bad) bagpipe version of Flower of Scotland as Paul Heavey their new coach is Scottish. Continuing the caledonian theme their fans kept doing highland dancing whenever Simms played Cotton Eyed Joe by the SCANDINAVIAN band Rednex ;D Simms efforts to drum up support for the most apathetic home crowd ever. Bit like trying to give the kiss of life to a rasher of bacon Idiots in the home support making unsuitable hand gestures towards the end. That was those who weren't making a hasty exit of course. Only a few but from the only vocal home support (Bar a 120 second spree right at the end) it was very noticable. Thank god it's mainly the cheap entertaining ones left
