If blaze can take at leat three points of the giants before the end of the season we stand a good chance. they have three tough games against cardiff (with carighead so no push over) and two against the steelers.
If blaze can take three points combined against nottingham and sheffield .
It all depends on the desire of the over teams for whatever playoff slo they want.
Giants game against bracknell is a banana skin, now as they have krulis as well.
Edit - Please read the forum rules, provoking other teams fans with silly name calling is not tolerated on this forum.

One thing we can't forget is that IF is a big word. Also this isn't like the BNL where we expected to win most games except for games against Dundee. The equivlent to us playing London Racers or Basingstoke now is us V Cardiff or Guildford in the BNL if you get where I am coming from. Anyway they always used to give us a run for our money.
This post should make sense somewhere along the line :$

This thread is a little ambitious to say the least.
As for the Blaze winning the title, the only way we can be certain is if the Blaze keep up this excellent run in form, until the end of the season. Let's not jump the gun, the Blaze have a long way to go before were ready to talk about winning the title. There are several teams left who could quite easily win the EIHL this season, let's just take each week as it comes.
Come on you Blaze!

The only time to uncross those fingers and start the celebrations is if we are three points clear with one game remaining.
As I mention elsewhere this upcoming weekend could be the most crucial so far and big points are an absolute must unless we want to throw away the recent good work

Agreed. It's going to be a tough one to travel up to Dundee after such an intense game the night before as well.
Really, four point this weekend is crucial.

I will settle for another 3 point weekend as each point just keeps edging us closer- 4 would be great though

i've predicted the run-ins for all teams and think the top three will be as follows.
Belfast 72 pts Blaze 72 Pts Cardiff 70 Pts
It will go down to goal difference, or is it on record between the teams.
I think if we win the challenge Cup, the pressure will be lifted and Blaze could win the League by a couple of points.

If Cardiff beat Belfast tomorrow night and we beat the Devils on Saturday it will be a good start. After that we can only take it a week at as time.

Okay. I don't want to spoil the mood here. But..We haven't won it yet! I'm thinking a lot of people are gettign a bit over confident here. I know we're four points ahead of Belfast but that's because they have two games it hand over us"

Yep FF....
At the end of the day, we all remember our first season and how we threw it away.
Lets not get cocky just yet...

A perfect result for Blaze fans: (After Over-time) Devils 2 Giants 2 That means both teams have dropped a point IF (there's that word again)...we can beat Devils on Saturday, IMO Devils will be out of the title race-unless Blaze have some sort of disaster (doesn't look likely) A four point weekend will put the Blaze well and truley in the drivers seat.

I said it in a previous post but will reiterate that this Saturdays home game with the Devils is even more important than the repeat fixture for the first leg of the Challenge Cup final
