What an awesome result from Cardiff 7 - 1 win. Were we very good or the Devils very bad. Either way with the other results going our way a good start to this very important weekend, Bring on the Pussies ( sorry Panthers )

Absolutly brilliant result. I heard Payette and Romaniuk both got thrown out the game, so know doubt there will be a few unhappy Devils fans.

seems that andre defended his team mate after a check to the head but did give romanuik a bit of a pasting....you should read the other forums..cardiff fans are loving him....and have no problem with his treatment of their player after the check to the head.....

Although i do resent the remark about never meeting a happy Devils fan........
Romanuick deserved what he got plain and simple, he hit calder with a cross check (to me it looked like to the head) from behind so Payette took care of him. Although i do wounder why he hit russ down staight away it seems he would have got him more if he had turned him round because as soon as they went down the linos jumped in.
Like i say romanuick deserved it and he is now banned for sheffiield semi final, and if what i heard is correct security was called down the the blaze dressing room to calm payette down

What a game, all i can say is "Top of the league, you're having a laugh" 7-1 wooo!! After the Devils went 1-0 up, the ball (puck whatever) definatley looked in there court (zone). But the Blaze came out for the second MEANING BUSINESS, Cardiff couldn't do a thing! An amazing result, great atmosphere as usual (apart from when we ran away with it, we silenced the Devils fans) ;D Devils brought Cugnet off and put on there back up, not like that did anything ofcourse (the goals kept flowing)  That's part one of the four point weekend, bring on the Panthers for part two Come on you Blaze!!! P.S No problems with Cardiff fans, they took the beating well - good on ya! Hopefully see you all again in the Challenge Cup Final. ;D |
