Blaze sign Lukac - (10/01/2005)
'High and Mighty' Coventry Blaze have completed the signing of Slovak defenceman Jozef Lukac after he impressed in his weekend trial.

Good , i thought he played well under the pressure of being on trial . Good passer decent checker solid player likes to shoot .If he stays at home it will allow wade doug or neal to have a blast up tother end.

I thought he had a good game against Panthers, worth keeping for longer term. Not spectacular but does a good job

He did the job he needed to do and I was impressed - a good solid performance.
Just waiting to see how stupid Basingstoke feel when they realise their mistake by letting him go and signing Gallace ;D

I thought he had a very good game against the Panthers...good passing especially from out of the zone to setup an attack (as he did on a few occasions last night), good positional sense and solid checker.
Well Done Josef...welcome to Coventry full-time ;D

Good signing in my opinion, he's done a great job over the weekend in two tough games. Let's just hope he get's better and better from here on in, i'm sure he will.

Solid if unspectacular player although I did not he has a good eye for goal and is not afraid to shoot.
All we need now are some tunes for him

Well...the next meeting between the Owners and NHLPA is due in the next few days...so after this happens, we will know if Lukac will be the last coming or going
