Just interested, after the 'Standard of Referring' thread. Maybe if it's done for a few games to see what people are thinking!
Just my 2p...
EDIT - Just edited the name of the thread so we can make next weeks thread "Week 3 - Referee poll" etc..

I voted good, but it wasn't a hard game to call last night - hardly any penalties!

True, to be honest i think it was one of Carson's better games.
Also he appeared to get it right on both of the disallowed goals.

I voted good because compared to some games it was.
But there wasn't much going on and not many pens called

I tend to find Carson is one of the better refs for letting the game flow and only calling stuff when necessary. No catcalls from the crowd tells its own story

A good performance from Carson IMO. A quite game anyway that he let flow, missed a couple of things for both sides, but was clear and decisive in his decisions.

The only "bad" thing he did was nearly put McNamara in the box when it was actually Joel, it was sorted out though

Mr Carson has to be the best referee in the Elite League for handling difficult games. Well this game wouldn't have been to difficult to ref but he controlled the game well without giving to many penalties.

Yeh Carson is alright, he has the odd bad game here and there, but at least he's not consistantly poor like others i could name.
