Having had time to reflect on Saturdays game further, i am now of the opinion that that was one of the best ever Blaze performances I have ever seen. What does everyone else think?
For the record other near perfect games were (In no particular order
2002/3 vs Dundee at Newcastle in Cup Semi 2002/3 vs Cardiff 1st leg of play off final 2003/4 vs Sheffield at home when we won 6-1 2003/4 vs Belfast at home. Can't remember score but Jody got ejected and Alan Levers turned into Superman 2000/01 vs Guildford away- Craig Chapmans last match

It was a good performance but no way was it one of the best ever, we have played better than that already this season. Both previous away games in cardiff saw 2 better performances.
The reason i say that is the way Cardiff played. In the 1st Cardiff were the better side on saturday, Blaze played reasonably well but Cardiff were rightfully ahead. The 2nd period was great stuff from the Blaze but Cardiff were sloppy in defence, and you could see that Whistle wasn't happy with his teams performance. He pulled Cugnet after the 4th to try and get some jump into the team and get them to defend their back up netminder as Cugnet was getting little help in front of him.
The 3rd saw the Devils come out strong looking to pressure and then Carlson scored SH and the devils just seemed to give up the game completely at that point.
It was a very good blaze performance, but by no means are best of the season let alone one of the best ever.
Personally for me the Dundee game at Newcastle in the findus cup semi final was definitely one of the best blaze performances I have seen.

I would have to say the 6-1 demolition of the Steelers...because I love it when we beat them!! It makes my day and the following week until the next game
And obviously, the Dundee game...

When Blaze came back from 4-1 down to win 6-4 up in Dundee, and win the play-offs.
