A total con. I have never seen an explanation of an answer given. Such as this:
3 seven
4 9
Twenty-Five
The task was to add the numbers. The answer given was 80. The explanation of the answer, was not given, and as different logics can lead to different answers, this seems to be an unfair quiz.
I don't phone in myself, before anyone asks, but I really do feel sorry for those that do. They are obviously people who are addicted to these type of shows.
Its disgraceful in my opinion that the TV companies are allowed to get away with this. I wouldn't mind too much if the answers given were either reasonable or explained. But I have not seen one answer ever explained.
Why can't ITV show a decent movie, I'm pretty sure if ITV had their way ITV would have these shows on 24/7.

ITV's own late night quiz shows, like The Mint and Make Your Play, are terrible. They always have these puzzles that are extremely difficult and far from logical, and they always use the same puzzles sometimes for months. The late night quiz shows that are on ITV but aren't made by ITV, Quizmania for example, are a lot better. They focus more on giving money to people who phone up and generally making the viewers and callers happier. ITV are only interested in making money and not giving it away, which is why their own shows are so bad.
I used to watch Quizmania when it was on ITV 1 as it used to be the only thing worth watching. I also tried phoning a few times using the free web entry, simply because it was free, and because the answers to win £50-£500ish were easy. I don't watch ITV's own shows that they put on ITV 1 all week though, too boring and annoying.
And they already do have these shows on almost 24/7 on ITV Play. It's mainly the quizshows all day with teleshopping on early to mid-morning.

I would say Quiz mania is entertaining, and Greg Scott always has me in fits of laughter. But he deserves a better show than that.
Steph I meant on terrestrial TV, although I do accept that ITV play is on nearly 24/7. When I first heard about ITV play I heard it would be a "gameshow channel" which I would have thought would mean ITVs own version of challenge TV.
By the way I have complained to OFCOM about the puzzle shown in my first post on this thread. Be interesting if I get a response.

I have sadly watched one of these number quiz games with mythical answers for about 10 mins once very bizzare
