Not X Box or PS etc but only PC CD games. Which are your favourites and why?

Personally my fave at the mo is Rise Of nations but I love most of these strategy based civilisation developing games- Empire Earth, Ceasar, Sim City, Age Of Empires etc

All the CSI games, The Sims, all the Splinter Cell games, and, not strictly a game, but Hyper Rails: Advanced 3D Roller Coaster Deisgn.

Only one of the csi games can run on my crappy lap top and I got all the way to the second disc and it had a massive scratch through it... it wasn't even sratched on the surface just in the middle... hmmph I guess its too late to take it back now, I got it in january...
