Myself i'll be getting the PS3, although i'm not paying £549.99 to pre-order it. I'll wait a while, hopefully until the prices drop  The battle of the consoles... |

Definitely getting a PS3.....Pre-ordered it yesterday  ;D You'll be waiting a while for the price to drop, will probably be at least a year before it's £400, another year until it's £200....might as well start saving now for the PS4. |

neither- never really been big on the whole video game thing, except for back on the super nintendo days! Everyone in my mess has one, cause we have so much free time in the evenings when living on base. But anyway, nah don't have one, don't want one.

I watched a clip of NHL 2007 for the Xbox 360, one word - AMAZING!! The attention to detail was second to none. The gaming world is soon to be all the hype again...doesn't seem all that long ago that was i playing Duck Hunt and Super Mario on the old NES (Nintendo)  The memories....  |

I'm gonna start using my Amstrad CPC464 again. That was the stuff of legends! It took a measly 17 minutes for a game to load!! lol

There is no way that I could justify paying £549.99 to play a game If you pay that much for the PS3 how much would a game set you back?? But then again I could justify paying that on shoes and bags!! ;D ;D Each to their own tho hey! |

360, after my PS2 went, i had the decision to wait for the PS3 or get a 360, with the money factor playing a big part of it i decided onthe 360, as it will offer similar options to the PS3, maybe better gaming on the PS3 but is slightly better gaming worth an extra £300,
i'm more than happy with the Xbox 360 and it is the best console as of yet i've played on, i have no doubt the PS3 will be better, but it is very over priced.

Overpriced it most certainly is, it's a joke!
I'm not in a massive rush to get a new console as i've not really got time to play it just yet but i'd like to think that the PS3 will drop in price soon after it's release! No doubt shops will be looking to offer the best deals for the smallest price, i'll be looking around for a good deal, maybe 6months after release.
