A Cambridge scientist has claimed that life spans could soon raise to over 1000, with people who are in their 60's today seeing that sort of lifetime. Link: news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4003063.stmInteresting, it certainly makes you think of what life would be like if this was to happen  |

Right the only downsides to all of this are :
a - the retirement age is raised to 750 meaning over 700 years at work
b - the retirement age is kept at 65 and we have over 900 years of gardening and bingo
c - who the hell has a pension to last them that long?
All in all a nice plan for the rich but would anybody really wish for another 900+ years of Paris Hilton or Jordan.
I predict the murder rate to soar if people stay alive for 1000 years due to boredom.
