Whats been said??
I've haven't encountered anything whilst over there that would make me feel unsafe. Just some mindless little kids outside a Burger King but thats normal

I'v never been but I have heard that the safest thing to do is watch the game, maybe stay have a few drinks in the arena then head straight back to the hotel. Also don't have you colours showing outside the hotel or arena (and I don't just mean your Blaze tops, England as well). Don't walk down the road singing Blaze songs like we did in Nottingham ;D and don't get isolated. Then you should be safe.

that is a load of nonence, where u here that, Belfast is as safe as houses i should know i life there...
No other fans have any worries, if you want to sit in your hotel room all night then thats fine, you miss out on the famous belfast hospatality, and a great night out..
Granted there may be one or two dodgey areas around town, but then again so does most places...
Ill be looking forward to seeing the blaze fans out and about after the game....
;D

At times the locals in Belfast are so welcoming it can be a touch embarrassing. The main road from the Odyssey to the hotel is a long 30 minute trek but is as safe as houses. Probably the safest game to attend on the road.
Obviously there are political problems but as long as you don't go off into areas (Which are cleary marked in 40 foot high pictures) where you shouldn't you will have a great time.
P.S. And DAN DAN DAN I thought it was nearer to half two in the morning when I finally found the Chinese take away ;D I know where it is exactly though this time

I'v heard that the actual Giants fans our the friendliest of people you could meet and so are most the locals. However, I still plan to keep my wits about me like I would if I was going anywhere for the first time.
