that the helicopter was actually a remote controlled one, controlled by a kid who was blind and taking directions from a deranged scientist who was looking upside down at the helicopter via a mirror. He was about to get out when suddenly it took off.
Oh god he thought. He was right of course, for what happened next was truely unbelieveable.......
