How many people still go in Chat Rooms on the internet? When i first got the internet (many moons ago) i was always in them, i don't bother with them at all now. If you do, tell us a little about it, what Chat Rooms do you use etc..
Also, are they safe? Would you let your children go in them?
Discuss..

Definately a no no for me - just dont appeal - watched my mate go on one once - not very exciting, just full of people with weird names talking about weird stuff! I dont think they are safe for children full stop!

Chat rooms no...although have dipped a toe in the water to see what they're like. Not too impressed really as I prefer to know whom I'm communicating with

yes i was into it a lot when i was younger. the freebies, the 'rooms', the avs, the fact you could set up groups and recruit people lol. after that closed down, i lost interest in chat rooms.

I found out about that chat room whilst visiting family in Glasgow, my cousin up their loved it. You could go walking round rooms, chatting to other people who were hanging out, it was quite fun. Any ideas why they closed it?

The obvious then? Yup that fifteen year old fittie from Falkirk turned out to be a twenty stone trucker from Texas All too familiar. Although apparently they have a new thing in place, for chat rooms...to catch them type out. Which is always a good thing.
