2003 Mad World- Gary Jules
Bob The Builder was just dumb. Somethin' Stupid was boring. I hate all of Girls Aloud's songs. Do they know it's Christmas was over played and got boring. Plus Mad World was in Donnie Darko which is a great film.

Thought the Gary Jules version was too downbeat especially compared to the haunting original of Tears For Fears...plus I really wanted the Darkness to get top spot that year. In essence this decade has slim pickings but I chose 2002 as it is a fairly good regular tune

Sorry if this is something I should ask through PM and not publicly but how come the poll has been locked. Band Aid 20 takes it for me. None of them really stand out as classics though.

Don't know why it was locked unless someone wanted to manipulate the free voice of the peepulation

I wonder who Louis Walsh wants to get top spot this week out of Shayne and Girls Aloud given that both are his own artists

How many prefer Shayne Ward with That's my goal to any of the above?

Shayne Ward gets my vote over any of them although even though it was an prety decent song at the time again i don't think it will be a classic that people will be singing in ten years time.
